Absolutely beautiful campsite. We visited during the last week the site was open so laundry and kitchen facilities were closed but this did not matter at all. The location was absolutely wonderful and the staff were so helpful and friendly. I also fell in love with Cooper the dog

Lisa and her team were fantastic hosts this Summer, and the facilities were excellent. The location is unmatched with the amazing Keel beach metres away, and everything you'd need like food stands, bars, restaurants, shops, all within a stones throw. As a family of 5 all our needs were catered for with daily surf lessons on the beach, the playground next door, the mini carnival, pony riding, kayaking etc.

Definitely a 4.5 🌟 campsite! My wife and I, our son, and our dogs enjoyed a fantastic week there in August in our little converted van. The facilities are mostly top notch, the staff very friendly and helpful, good all round value for money. You'd have to search very hard to find a better location too. Achill is a dream, Keel is a gem (absolutely fantastic beach), Keel Camping fits the bill nicely. Congratulations to the new owners on running such a fantastic campsite. Negative points? The WiFi didn't work, which bothered my son more than me. Some of the taps didn't turn off on their own and were left running. Showers were fine (I get the stop / start system. It makes total sense) but not all showers are equal... having said that, the reception offered me a token straight off when I mentioned one shower had little to no pressure due to peak usage. Great location. We had electrical supply, very convenient. The showers were good and value at €1 for 5 minutes. The kitchen was good. I would only suggest more than just two electrical outlets as one is for the fridge.

Excellent in every way. A microcosm of an Irish summer. This is hands down the best campsite I’ve stayed in. Organised, but friendly. Rules, but not over the top. Children on their bikes enjoying their freedom, but well behaved. Lovely to hear music and laughter around this site on a wet and misty Irish summers evening, and see people of all ages relaxing. We clearly weren’t the only ones enjoying keel camping. Lisa and her family were so helpful and we had an amazing few days here despite the rain. In fact we even got to like the sound of the rain on the roof of the caravan as we sipped tea and read our books. That, and the sound of the ocean. And the stars at night. All thanks to this amazing place and the way the site is run, from the cosy caravan to the spectacular surroundings.

We had a great stay at Keel Campsite on what was probably their busiest time of the year. The ground was very good quality for pitching the tents. Staff were extremely friendly. The facilities were great and kept very clean. My 4 Yr old neice was staying with us and she absolutely loved it. She could run around and play on the grass safely. There was a games room and a playground for her and she absolutely loved the funfair next to the site which was open from 7pm each evening such a treat for her. There were little coffee and food trucks beside the site, loved our morning coffees from there. The location is excellent it's beside the busiest part of the island and our pitch was a 20 second walk from Keel beach which is a long beautiful white sand clean beach. Can't recommend enough for families.

Lovely site with clean amenities nice staff. Unfortunately while keeping an eye on the rain forecast a gale force wind warning ⚠️ hit and the tent took a beating during the night. Staff helped to peg it back down and were great. Rooms stars don't really count as had a tent

Lovely campsite with friendly staff, especially Erin. Great views and easy access to Keel Beach across the road. Laundry reasonably priced at 5 euro per wash with 10kg machine. Shower facilities clean all other facilities clean and well maintained. Would visit again.
